Why banned? I don’t get it.
The church apparently doesn’t want young people to hear the older, probably more strict, version.
They keep constantly changing the words or some rule. It’s hard to take it seriously.
And I became a Catholic because my husband is a Catholic.
Peruse the last 100 years. Death of God, romanticism, modernism, populism, decline of scholasticism, the New Theology... the Old mass is in contradiction to the great reset. It praises a divine Saviour. The new mass elevates ecumenism, humanism and community over the divine.
Apparently so they don’t get distracted from the more important doctrine of socialism and world government.

Because it is superior in all ways to the cartoon mass put out after VatII.
