You are mixing your scriptures. And yes we can have the assurance of out salvation.

We can indeed Mom. Assurance of salvation is a beautiful thing, even if some refer to it, the so called sin of presumption. If that is a sin, I will commit it all day, every day. 😁 It’s not a sin, however. It’s a blessing. See you at the pre trib rapture. 👍

You are mixing your scriptures.

All scripture is connected. All the Apostles and Prophets taught the same thing, but from a different point of view. There writings were tailored to a specific people, but they all knew the exact same truths. Meaning, you can't have the teachings found in Romans, without seeing it through the lens of James. You can't understand Corinthians without understanding Ephesians. They all fit together.

And yes we can have the assurance of out salvation.

You have the promise that salvation is possible. You can have the promise that if you keep the commandments of God, you will receive salvation.
