Be convinced of these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking man’s deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christ’s sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 3:21-26)
You got that right!
Entirely possible. In the Olivet discourse, in all 3 accounts, Matthew, Mark and Luke, what was the FIRST thing Jesus told them? Take heed that no man deceive you. I think there is a lot of deceiving going on out there. 😁 What is meant by the phrase, as in the days of Noah? I have my own opinion. 👍 Take heed, that no man deceive you. 🖐
so why are you even worried about it?
Who will man the water pumps and home gas distribution centers?
What will happen to the unmanned or confused directions monitoring the electric grid? How many surgeries will suddenly be without the surgeon or nurses and anesthesiologists, or patients undergoing surgery?
Who will clear the horrendous array of train and highway crashes? Who will go erect power lines downed by crashes of unmanned cars, trucks, SUVs, and semis?
Who will be in the streets of city chaos to prevent murders and riots and rampant panic with deliveries to the city markets?
For we who are suddenly no longer in this four dimensional realm, transformed int he twinkling of an eye existing in a greater set of space and time variables the experience will breathtaking in wonder.
For those not gathered to Him the scene will be a growing hell on earth, for a while, until the antichrist leaps into action with his all signs and lying wonders powers from satan.
If someone who does not believe there is coming a sudden gathering to Christ event, and they have been trusting in Grace plus their works, as if GOD Who created the entire Universe and holds it in delicate balance needs their works or would even have an accounting to check their earnings, the sudden Departure will beg for a strong delusion to believe the horrific chaos is a good thing. ... And they will get it!
“so why are you even worried about it?”
Who said I was?

You guys sure do talk about it like you do. Case in point the idiotic post MHGinTN just posted.

Excellent, MHG! I’m fast coming to the belief that it’s not even Grace+Works (Law) for some of those putting themselves under the curse of the law, but rather that it’s all Law for them and that they think they are going to take advantage of just enough Grace to cover their past sins and then take it from there on their own in trying to keep the Law. As if Jesus did a good enough job for them in their eyes of washing them, but that He didn’t do well enough at His cross to keep them so they need to put themselves right back under the curse of the law from which He just freed them. Go figure.
It does little to no good to repeat it, but: The Law was given to Israel. And that creates a whole ‘nother set of problems for law keepers, of course, but there we go.

We sure do! We have that blessed hope! Praise be to God!
It may read idiotic to a person cursed under the law, but to those saved by Grace it is one awesome certainty from the Word of God!
One thing is for sure, MHG, everyone remaining will have made it their choice to do so.

I don’t understand. How would what MHG posts have anything to do with what I worry about or don’t worry about?
The key is to understand to difference between “religion talk” and real “rubber meets the road” talk. When they say “by grace through faith” it is just religion talk. When we say “by grace alone without the deeds of the law” that is where the rubber meets the road.
Or to put it another way, they give verbal assent to grace, but if you don’t do the works, you burn in Hell. So I think you are correct that is is all law and none of grace.
And therein is the depth of the tragedy. If someone thinks it idiotic the scene painted for them BEFORE the event happens, how strong must the delusion be to convince them the chaos around them is a good thing?

Excellent! I will remember this. Thank you, BD.
Hmm. Great point you make, MHG. I know that if it were me, I would die on the spot knowing that I had missed the only opportunity for escape. I used to think that it would be very difficult to fake out a number of people not raptured due to their having had prior knowledge of the rapture, but I don’t think so anymore. It becomes more apparent by the day that some don’t want God on His terms but rather want an IOU from God for their works and their own “righteousness.” To them I say, “Yeah. Good luck with that!”

That’s exactly what Satan wants you to believe (fables).
You forgot to say that those “left behind” get a second chance (not scriptural of course, but hey, when has that ever stopped “you guys”?
That’s exactly what Satan wants you to believe (fables).
Or perhaps it’s what Satan wants you believe: that God’s word can’t be trusted.
There’s such deception all around us now that it’s hard to imagine much more, but it will get worse.
I take “take heed no man deceive you” probably pointing to the man, the antichrist, but it could simply mean to not let anyone deceive you. We are fast getting to the days of Noah with some things in science that are going on now. I have a feeling that we have no idea of how bad things really were in Noah’s day. I don’t want to know, either!
I trust God’s word. The problem is what people read into it (like Darby) and then people like you believe his fables.
