Hmmm. For some reason I never thought of the beast with ten horns as a dinosaur (or a dragon) China is associated with a dragon. 55 (or 56 depending on who's counting) ethnic groups doesn't quite fit ten horns. Over 30 Provences doesn't fit either.
Another beautiful theory ruined by ugly facts...
