Lord God the Almighty, thank You for the opportunity and the call to serve You. Continue to do a work in us, that we may be equipped to share the Good News.
Though our hearts break at the destruction of our Republic, let them overflow with the love and victory of Your Kingdom.
We pray that we may celebrate a revival of Your Holy Spirit.

We pray these things in the name of Jesus.

A well thought out prayer. Amen to that, Father!

Lord God,
We do not know what providence has designed with respect to the immediate future for our country. So we wait patiently for Your time and action. We pray that You do so in a manner that is strong and emphatic.

Meanwhile, we know that Satanic power and demonic influence is firmly entrenched in the nation's capitol. Hypocrisy there makes ancient Jerusalem look almost quaint. Characteristic of these "enlightened" times is how pervasive this secular religion spreads throughout all venues of civic life. It walks through our doors at home from celebrities, commercials, movies, various sites on the internet.

The lowly and vile, even the criminal, are festooned while the Christian is hated and lampooned and vilified.

So we wait. We wait on You, Lord, to administer justice to all those who champion this dominant evil -- and all those who are simply complaint with it.

May our prayers ascend as sweet incense;
may the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified.
