I think commentary is getting muddied on this subject in that (near as I can tell), ALL of us believe in a rapture; a meeting of Christ. The difference is, it happens at Christ’s REAL return, at the end of time. It does not happen in a secret way where life continues on but believers disappear and piles of clothes are everywhere.

Actually I believe there’s the Rapture....
....and later there is the 2nd Coming of Christ

There is a story in the bible that had Christ and a small remnant of His disciples climb up a mountain.

And on that mountain, Elijah and Moses shows up.
Christ is transfigured before them all.

And then the small remnant comes down the mount with Christ.

And finds the disciples who didn’t go up the mount, down on the ground fighting, and losing, to demons.

That may not be a story that proves or disproves a rapture of some.
But it certainly wouldnt be one that confirms that the entire body of believers go away.

Just a remnant went up.

The rest were on their own off the mount, fighting demons.
And frankly, losing.

That account may have nothing to do with describing the end times and a rapture.
But it’s not the only time He’s on a mount, and His Disciples are struggling without Him.
