The following is from Amos (6:12). The context is that Samaria is facing imminent destruction from Assyria, God's punishment for Israel's sins. I have provided it because of the abominable parallels our own system following the theft of the election and other denied petitions of the righteous.

Do horses run upon the rock? Will one plow the sea with oxen? Yet you have turned justice into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood.

Lord God we too are bereft of godly leaders. Those of us on the Right have not cheated or stolen votes; yet those have, did so by defying God's statutes.Just as bad as the loathsome lowly ballot cheats, many in America's ensconced Sanhedrin permitted this nationwide, criminal outrage to go unchecked. Cursed be they in Your eyes. The lawyers, judges, and apologists relish in the fact that they are free from the constraints of long established values. And these hardened, unrepentant and evil souls now glory in their opposition to the precepts of Scripture.

In a sense we feel like stunned onlookers told by their "betters" even-handed justice is gall or bile and that righteousness is wormwood -- putrid, bitter, and deleterious.

Lord we appeal to You to fight on our behalf, uphold Your statutes and pour confusion and distress upon those who fight against You.

In Christ's name.

Oh Father God, this republic has been hijacked by wicked men and women. We pray, Lord, that we be restored unto Thee.
