People in hell aren’t dead either, so that argument does not hold water.
The rationalization that Catholics engage in to disobey the clear teaching of Scripture about prayer and to justify their prayers to dead people is staggering.
They hang on to the prayers to Mary and their so-called *saints* with a death grip that defies imagination.
I don’t know what they think will happen to them if they stop praying to anyone but God and prayed to Him alone as directed in Scripture, but I would love to know what it is, because it defies logic and common sense.
“They hang on to the prayers to Mary and their so-called *saints* with a death grip that defies imagination.”
I would guess that is becuase they don’t have the Father/child relationship, so they don’t have the comfort that we do to go straight to the KING.
“defies logic and common sense.”
What defies logic to me is that it took 1800 years to codify the dogma of the false mary, but yet they think it was from the beginning. They make it such a big deal, but their own church apparently didn’t or it would not have taken 1800 years to put it into their official writings.
