If I do, I will receive the shot someplace where I can sit a spell. I’m thinking of that Tennesee Nurse who fainted. She fainted AFTER 17 minutes had already passed. I would hate to be driving north on the Golden Gate Bridge during rush hour, only to have something unexpected happen, and me asleep at the wheel.

BOL/We got this year’s flu shot in our HMO’s parking lot in our vehicle.
Then, we parked our vehicle at the far end of the lot and after about 5 minutes, walked to a near by super market and did our shopping and came back about 30 minutes later. Loaded our groceries and drove away.
Zero side effects and zero pain.

That’s a smart thing to do. Once available to me I’ll get it where I usually get vaccinations - our local Costco pharmacy. After our jabs, my wife and I can sit and enjoy a Costco hotdog & soft drink. Easy peasy.
Yep - common sense precautions.
I haven’t seen that they determined the vaccine caused the fainting spell and being pregnant and the sudden center of attention may have caused a reaction.
