Yep, it’s all in the prayer that Jesus taught.

Thanks/appreciation to God, self-reflection, seeking/doing God’s will, and for strength against temptation.

God already knows what we want/desire and “moves in mysterious ways” in relation to that. You can pray in earnest, sometimes you get what you want, sometimes you don’t, only God knows if what you got came from Him. God should not be looked at like a genie, again prayer subjects are taught in the ‘Our Father’.
