It’s laughable to think that a 22 year old security guard could be manhandled by a 75 year old man. I smell a Cardinal Pell-like set-up to get Fr. Rutler, who has already been banished to a backwater parish because of his outspokenness.

In the Detroit, it was decided by the head honcho and one of his underlings that they needed to get rid of this one parish pastor. The underling accused the priest of having sex with an altar boy. He worked with a person in law enforcement to make sure the priest was found guilty. The altar boy, now an adult, was questioned about it and the guy said it never happened. They pressured him to admit that it did happen. He refused to admit that. Through all the media fluff the priest was pulled out of his Church and was facing legal action. The priest got some really good legal representation, fought it and won his case.

That is what this thing against Father Rutler sounds like.
