I am Jewish and this mask doesnt bother me in the least. OTOH, an arm of the State denying this girl her right to both freedom of speech and religion is incredibly disturbing. Hopefully, she will wear the mask again, be suspended, and a few months later have a couple million dollars in a trust fund controlled by her parents.
Amen. It is usually liberals who don’t even believe in G-d who tell us that Jewish People are “offended” by this or that.
I am really old-fashioned. I think all of these slogan dust-ups in the schools (whatever the message) is people needing attention, using children as “free speech” targets.
The “adults” are more juvenile than the children, but at least a 3rd grader wearing a “Jesus Loves Me” mask is appropriate for a 3rd grader, unlike a racist political BLM mask. What’s that kid know, save the learned chip on his shoulder or worse.
That all said, I like the idea of a hamantashen mask. One right in the middle of the mask. PUR-fect on a number of levels. :)
Lydia announcing “Jesus Loves Me” is actually a perfectly normal statement in the grand scheme of things.
