That's the same crap they've been doing in Melbourne, Australia. Besides the overzealous police there, the government appointed civilians with powers to walk into people's homes without a warrant to see if they are abiding by the lockdown rules. They can even take your kids away from you if you are found in violation. Not to mention very high fees if you are ticketed. One young couple, with three small kids, drove to a store to pick up items that they needed. Unknown to them, they traveled outside the zone, and were ticketed, despite the fact that there is no sign declaring where the zones begin or end. They were fined $5,000 a piece.

Businesses have been closed there for months, and are just now being allowed to open up. The Victoria police have publicly stated that people have the right to protest the lockdown, but then when you go outside to protest, you are arrested. They arrested two old ladies for sitting down on a bench in a park. They were told they couldn't sit down, but had to keep moving. Yet, when they arrested another guy for exercising outdoors, which he is allowed to do under the guidelines, they took him over to a park bench so they could sit down to get his information. There's no conformity, or continuity in the application of the lockdown laws.
