Not a very nice thing to say to someone who is on your side and speaking up in public.
Speaking up now after all the devastation and people driven from the Church, it’s like warning the Captain of the Titanic about an iceberg 2 days after it hits.
I do recognize he is trying to do the right thing; but many of us have been fighting against Vatican II for years, saying what he is saying and been ridiculed, suppressed and even banished.
Not a very nice thing to say to someone who is on your side and speaking up in public.
