Amen.
Rosh Hashanah: LORD on this first day of the Jewish New Year, we recommit ourselves and our nation to You. May Your grace pour out and abound in ever greater measure among Your people and over our land...over every land! We await in eager expectation for Your miracles to unfold. May the Heavens break out in wondrous, thundering power as You make Your presence felt and known on the earth in these momentous days ahead.
Please surround President Trump and Vice President Pence, along with their entire administration, staff, and families with Your all encompassing favor as with a shield. Please seal all leaders and purveyors of righteousness in our land with a fresh anointing!
(Since posting that prayer there has since been an earthquake here in Los Angeles.)
Please keep us all safe but I continue to pray for spiritual shifts and shakeups. I have been meditating on this following Psalm:
Psalm 29
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord is enthroned as King forever.
11 The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
