Recently I had an experience that I think applies to the current national situation. The thought tangles lines bothered me the night prior to fishing. Indeed that is what happened the next day right from the start. Some of it was because I did not pay attention and was not careful. Then as I came home and observed the political drama the 'tangled lines' thought came back to mind. Obstruction, chaos, manipulated news that inflames hatred and fear, piled on every day to prevent our President from being successful.
Dear Lord Jesus, I pray that your people would wake up to all these warnings and seek your face. You say in your word, "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8. We come against this spirit of chaos, political wickedness and destruction in your name.
Dear Lord Jesus we pray for your wisdom and strategies to bring peace and purpose back to our nation. We lift of our President and his staff, may they not back down and cower to the intimidation of those working against you....

Lord Jesus, unclean spirits of violence, hatred, heresy, lies, ideology, confusion, inversion of evil over good, oppress our land. The minds of unknown numbers of people, many calling themselves Christian, are filled with darkness. Please Lord, have mercy upon this land. Break the powers of darkness and heal our people. Let them see and think clearly. Let them be people who can see reason where only unreason prevails. In our Lord Jesus Christs name we pray. Amen

Lord, please remove from political position all who work evil by whatever means you see fit. We don’t trust the electoral process any more as we know many have cheated their way into office.
Please expose the fraud and have someone do something about it.
And if removing them by vote isn’t going to work, please remove them by whatever means you deem necessary.

Lifting up each presidential debate, the vice presidential debate, and each moderator. From the very first to last: May Trump and Pence be the undeniable victors in both substance (ideas) and performance.
Prayers for the Holy Spirit to fill each event with His presence and for God’s favor to be on Trump and Pence as they respond to each question, lay out their vision for the country, and distinguish the conservative agenda from the darkness of the leftist one. Prayers that the distinctions made are unavoidable and stark. That the failings/corruptions and extremes of Biden, Harris, as well as the failings of liberal mayors and governors throughout the country be unavoidably spotlit for the viewing public. Esp as it pertains to Covid lockdowns and violence, and pre-Covid ills like decades long dereliction of cities like Baltimore.
Prayers that viewers’ consciences be stirred by the spirit of Truth, even those who don’t identify as conservative or who have sworn their hatred for the President and VP. That Christians especially be convicted by the choices set before them.
That all the Enemy’s attempts and shenanigans in trying to trip Trump and Pence up with ‘gotcha’ questions fail. And that their positions even on the most polarizing issues of the day: from abortion to immigration to gun control be articulated effectively and with heart.

And continued prayer against voting fraud and against a drawn out election process. For Trump to win both the electoral and popular votes By Election Day. For divine game-changing momentum and circumstances to work in Trump/Pence’s favor. For a miracle landslide victory.
