“Once saved always saved is how I learned it.”
Yes. “The security of the believer” is the thing. I’m not sure about leanings of current “evangelicals”, but Christians cannot lose their salvation.
In John 3:16, when he said, “EVERLASTING life”, he meant everlasting, i.e., forever. No “unless” in there.
“but Christians cannot lose their salvation”
Revelation 21:
7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liarsthey will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
Revelation 22:
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
If you receive the Mark of the Beast are you still saved? The bible says no.
