You mention the Virgin Mary. Just my opinion, but I think the original name of the queen of Heaven, was Semiramis. Her name changed, according to different cultures and languages. It’s possible, the religion of Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz, was widespread in the known world, when Jesus arrived on the scene. 😁

You mean the only queen of Heaven in Scripture and the only one that was offered sacrifices and appealed to for help, which the worshipers of such insisted on practicing despite reproof, like as Catholics?

As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. (Jeremiah 44:16-17)
