Less wordy and repetitive would get the message home more effectively.
Remember what the old preacher said:
“First you tell them what you’re going to tell them. Then tell them. Then, tell them what you told them.”
Still a good prescription.
I don’t like sloppiness in any area of life. If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.
(Especially when one takes it upon himself to teach and expound upon the Word.)
sorry for the late reply!
Many do, but many were raised from the dead thus rendering that Heb. 9:27 theory absolete;
Ex. the young boy by Elijah, Jesus rose many from the dead including Lazarus, Paul also, and the Rapture will be the chief example of millions not seeing earthly death.
Moses and Elijah are God’s witnesses to Israel for they represent the Law and the Prophets and are seen and mentioned with Jesus. Also their wonders are matched by Rev. 11:3-7.
If you want to do a more deeper objective study on this topic; Dr. John Whitcomb - one of the revival pioneers of the Creation movement; who just went to be with the Lord - did a great series on these two.
Let me know what you think?
