the word Harpazo is in the Bible, in the Greek, check out 1 Thessalonians 4

That’s nice, but that doesn’t change my view that the notion of “The Rapture” is silly nonsense. And for all those who claim to have been saved by answering and altar call, it would seem to be especially nonsensical. I mean since they’re already “saved” is their teaching of it merely to frighten the unwashed?

You asserted, "... but that doesn’t change my view that the notion of “The Rapture” is silly nonsense." And therein we see the closed mind on display. The passage from 1 Thess 4, offered in a letter to folks Paul had spent maybe a month or six weeks with shows us how important the 'silly nonsense' was in Paul's Holy Spirit directed mind. What is explained in 1 Thess 4:13-18 is a supernatural event which Paul knew to be so important that he taught it to these new converts and then wrote a letter to further explain what he had taught them and what folks like you scoff at and even went so far as to write a fraudulent letter to scoff with.

Paul closed that explanation with verse eighteen, 'Wherefore COMFORT one another with this'. Looking for the rise of the Lawless One doesn't seem like such a great comfort for folkswho have the Life of God abiding in their born again spirits. (see 1 John 3:9... God abiding is not a yo-yo reality).
