Rubbish. The pope thinks of Nature as Creation, as if the natural world were a placid English cottage garden. He ignores or forgets that nature is violent and indifferent to our welfare, to whether any of us lives or dies.
Nature, red in tooth and claw is foreign to his mindless musings.
