Now who’s drawing assumptions? Instead, the Bible addresses these situations contemporarily. Paul spoke directly of his suffering. First Peter is written to churches suffering persecution. Steven’s demise was earthly, not spiritual.

To say that God always blessed His faithful with worldly blessing is not only not true, it is a complete misunderstanding of Jesus’ proffered salvation.

You have a problem. It is either of comprehension, or with understanding basic arguments or it is with the truth.

Please cite where I said God “always blesses His faithful with worldly blessing...”

I have REPEATEDLY said that wealth, provision, prosperity and health, vigor and long life are BLESSINGS and that He views them as such. I have also stated that He sees lack, want, poverty, sickness and disease as CURSES.

And I have asked you (since you wanna argue about it constantly) to provide scripture that shows that He doesn’t.

You haven’t and you can’t.

God/Jesus want the whole world to be saved. They ain’t gonna be.

That is not the measure we use to determine His desire towards us.

We go by what He says, by what He tells us. Not by what man’s experience is.

Jesus chastised the disciples over and over for their lack of faith, trying time and again to illustrate it to them.

I am trying to believe God for everything He is offering us and trying to believe as much or more as the disciples.

Please quit trying to get in the way. Whether you like to hear it or not, you are trying to insinuate yourself between me and my relationship with the Father and the Son. YOU, sir, are being used as a tool in an attempt to water down the Gospel to those who read your posts. YOU are not being bold in your faith, but careful, accusing of the faithful, and have not posted a single affirming thing about the power of the Almighty God and His Son, Jesus.

Your whole posting history to me on this thread has been a defense of God’s withholding blessing and you have not once declared His enmity with curses. You are a servant of tradition and not of faith.

I am sorry to write to you this way, but you won’t stop selling a weak, remote, uncaring Father. If your own child was sick, you’d do whatever you could do to deliver it from that. But you refuse to say that God, who loves us beyond our own comprehension, wouldn’t desire the same.

Also, quit using those idiotic arguments and quit debating topics that aren’t being debated.

So, Fido...

I got to wondering:

What is the sticker for you?

1. Do you wonder if God CAN provide health/provision? Or,

2. Do you wonder if He is WILLING/WANTS His children to enjoy health/provision? Or,

3. Do you wonder if He is WILLING and CAN provide health/provision to YOU...personally?

Because if you believe all three of these in the affirmative, we’re in agreement.

If you don’t believe one (or more) of them, which is it/are they?
