Yeah I heard that too and I have read that also, alot of info out there on Randy that adds alot of pieces to his puzzle! What a good loyal friend, too bad he never listened to Randy’s advice. Praying for Ozzy salvation!

Randy was going to do a live BS album which I believe was what was left on his contract with Ozzy. Then he died and Brad Gillis filled in. But Randy was seeking out of that world and going to college to get a degree and most likely follow the classic guitar industry.

Classical guitar is a whole nother world of guitar playing. They are the best guitarist in the world. Rocket science guitarist!

That’s the point of this post, to cause us to evaluate each one of us personally before God and His righteousness. All we are is dust in the wind.

The bottom line is God loves us and sent His Son (John 3:16-17, 1 John 4:10). No matter who we are or what our social status or achievements they are but a moment in light of ETERNITY. A drop in the ocean vanity etc...

It’s all about what we will do about Jesus (Acts 4:12)?

Like I said it just makes you wonder. And as a Christian I do believe we will meet our maker and maybe get some answers but, while alive there is a lot stuff that doesn’t doesn’t make sense. And that’s where faith comes in and we believe in the Lord’s teaching. In many ways, I do see God’s influence on earth — it’s there — but that’s not all there is. There is a also lot of evil and bad things. And that mixture leads to many questions.

By the way, I read your post about classical guitar and I disagree that classical guitarists are the best guitarists in the world. They are very limited in what they can and cannot do. And a lot of time what limits them is the tradition itself. For a sad look at what a master class can devolve into check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiAbqfaYGwk&t=187s

Thank you for the post brother. Jesus loves rock and rollers too, and like the ignorant fisherman, call us out to follow hi.. Life, rock is never the same after Jesus taps you on the shoulder and calls you by name.

I have always played “Dee” on my now classical nylon string guitar, even to my christian brothers and sisters to which they say what a pretty classical piece it is. Sometimes saying they thought they heard it somewhere, to which I smile, rarely revealing the composer of the music and letting Randy’s music be enjoyed and appreciated without the stigma of association. It is my understanding that Randy Rhoads composed the classical piece, “Dee” to his mother.

I have always said that the angels cried when Pachebelle composed “Canon in D”. Suggesting that holy beings could be moved by the divinely granted creativity of fallen humanity and the allotted beauty thereof. I would say the same of Randy’s “Dee”

Surely, as it has always been said, there will be many surprises in heaven. Randy Rhoads, would NOT be a surprise, along with Salomon I suppose. ;))

RIP Randy

This article contains so many falsehoods about Randy and the music industry that it’s not worth even pointing them out.

Thank you Baghdad Bob for pointing these out.

Oh; wait...
