Unanswered prayer is, I think, the hardest thing we Christians deal with. To cry out for deliverance and not receive it can be so demoralizing.

All prayers are answered...sometimes the answer is “No.” God has a reason for all things.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.”
