One of the glaring mis-steps that guys like Martin and Buttkreig (or however it's spelled) take is that because of the whole "love" thing, gayness is elevated above other sins, even though it's expressly forbidden in the OT and NT. Because of this, thousands of gay believers who might've followed the admonishment to 'take up their cross daily, and follow Me' (as Jesus says), don't. And because they don't take up their cross of same-sex temptation, they lose out on a deeper relationship with God. Their sins aren't washed because they're taught by theological midgets that the same-sex attraction, and the acting on of those impulses, aren't sins. How dare guys like Martin say that Jesus was wrong when he said, "Deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow Me."

Former Catholic. If I was still a Catholic, I think I would have to be a sedevacantist. I'm curious that this stance is not widely taken by Catholics on this forum. Regarding this Pope, I see pronouncements of heresy and apostasy. I see outright contempt and derision. But, when pressed, I have yet to see a Catholic conclude that this man is not a valid Pope; that the Chair is empty. I don't get it.

I disagree with your facts. The prisons are not full of married men. Celibacy is unnatural. When fallen men outlaw what is natural and God given, men do what is unnatural (pedophilia)
