The poster of the thread has been shown numerous ECF and beyond, prior to the nineteenth century, discourses on the Rapture. The Truth is not what the poster has as target. I suspect there is a book by the poster somewhere and this is a tactic to induce purchases.
The earliest dealing with this issue, other than Jesus introducing the event and Paul dealing with it in more specific terms, is the Pseudo Ephraim (https://www.pre-trib.org/pretribfiles/pdfs/Ephraem-OntheLastTimestheAnt.pdf).

(A dispensation perspective is a powerful tool for discernment)
In section 2 we find the following statement from the sermon: "For all the saints and elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins."
Sounds a lot like the modern teaching on the Pre-tribulation Rapture!

Yep, there’s no point debating when it’s known to be on opposite sides.
I do mention stuff to people and sometimes they may not be interested. So I try to often use my ping threads where people have asked to join.
