If you view the Pope as nothing more than another church leader like Billy Graham or Joel Osteen or Jim Dobson, you are mistaken. He is not even to be compared to them: he is very much the worst of the worst: "The corruption of the best is the worst."

Pope Francis is appointing apostates, perverts and criminals to top positions throughout the Catholic Church, and, even more horribly, they are spawning: raising up new cadres even worse than themselves.

But if you really understood what the Church really is, you would never have abandoned the Catholic Church in her hour of need. People who leave under these circumstances are like soldiers who go AWOL just as the battle gets hot, or warriors who leave their posts as soon as the enemy is within the gates.

Lay claim to the graces of your Confirmation. We're not to fall back at first blood. We're to stand and fight.

I became an evangelical Christian 30 years ago. So, unfortunately, opposing Francis is not my fight.

It has been a long time since I called myself a Catholic, so I don’t know if a Pope can be impeached or otherwise removed from office against his will. Barring that, leaving the church might be one of the best ways to bring him down.

Or, perhaps all Catholics should pray that well-known prayer of Psalm 109:8.

It appears that Mother Miriam is one of Francis’ fiercest critics on her radio show. I led a men’s bible study recently and quoted her extensively. What a firebrand.
