Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang wants to give cash to every American each month.
Susie Garza has never heard of Yang. But since February, shes been getting $500 a month from a nonprofit in Stockton, California, as part of an experiment that offers something unusual in presidential politics: a trial run of a campaign promise, highlighting the benefits and challenges in real time.
Garza can spend the money however she wants. She uses $150 of it to pay for her cellphone and another $100 or so to pay off her dogs veterinarian bills. She spends the rest on her two grandsons now that she can afford to buy them birthday presents online and let them get the big bag of chips at the 7-Eleven.

Self-sufficient, responsible working stiffs dont get a dime. Just the bill for this stupid vote buying stunt. White folk anyway.
>>She uses $150 of it to pay for her cellphone
that’s too damn high. Turn off the unlimited data stream, the subscription to Spotify and Netflix.
Our “poor” are more well off than 50% of the world.

How is this not buying votes?
>>She uses $150 of it to pay for her cellphone and another $100 or so to pay off her dogs veterinarian bills. She spends the rest on her two grandsons now that she can afford to buy them birthday presents online and let them get the big bag of chips at the 7-Eleven.
She doesn’t spent $150 of that $500 on taxes?
Why doesn’t she pay her fair share?
“She uses $150 of it to pay for her cellphone”
I’m with you on that. I have 3 phone lines with unlimited data and roaming and my monthly is less.
Seems like if you simply give them money, they’ll simply be be scammed out of it, as in this case.
This is a joke. $500? What the heck does that buy? The rich people don’t live on $500 a month. they don’t even live on $5000 a month — that’s only $60,000 a year (net of taxes of course). But of course there’s no reason why The People should be paying taxes to the government when the government owes them money — what the heck is the point of that?
I think they should give everyone at least $100,000 a year, which works out to about $2000 a week. At least people could live like human beings on that.
What a selfish person this Yang guy is. Geez. I bet he’s white. Or something.
Wondering why this is listed in the Religion Forum?
“I like it because I feel more independent, like Im in charge.”
That’s an odd definition of “independent”...relying on other people’s money.
Stockton California. It was the town portrayed in “The Big Valley” Cattle town. Shipping Port. Another example of Commie Rats destroying cities, towns, states, nations EVERYTHING they touch.
“Im with you on that. I have 3 phone lines with unlimited data and roaming and my monthly is less.”
But do you have the latest and greatest cell phone? The one that costs 800 bucks? That alone adds 35 bucks per month to the contract.
I have four lines with unlimited everything and I’m paying off 2 phones. I pay double that. I’m probably getting screwed but not as bad as she is.
The big thing here is that it’s funded by private donations ... not the government. That’s all well and good. But can you imagine trusting a program like this to the feds? LOL!

I think so. Let me run out to my Tesla Model S and check. I think I left it in there, or perhaps next to the wind farm in my backyard.
Us tax slaves have to keep the oars rowed while the drum beats or else.
No reason to shop around for a better Cell Phone Plan when you aren’t using Money you had to work hard for to earn.
Easy peasy...
This program is being financed through private money. So I’m fine with it. As long as it’s truly private money.
>>offers something unusual in presidential politics: a trial run of a campaign promise
It is a campaign expense. And it is buying votes
