Case in Point: MaCarrick removed only last year
Yes, I believe it’s true. I subscribe to the Catholic League’s newsletter. Every year they discuss the number of credible accusations made. It is very small, especially when compared to before 2002. I am glad that McCarrick was removed. I am not sure if the allegations involved any post 2002 misconduct.
BTW, the Catholic League is not some group that is trying to cover up this scandal. Rather they report on it often.
