I threw mine into a campfire, along with about 15 others in my catholic high school.

Did they burn?

If so, they didn't even save themselves.

Now, wouldn’t those trusting in that scrap of wool, be presuming that the wearer will not suffer eternal fire, be guilty of committing the sin of presumption? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am truly sad anyone would turn down the free gift of God - eternal life - and instead trust a demonic apparition and wear a couple pieces of wool for their salvation.

They will burn as the scapular does.

Unfortunately, you are right. You can show someone how to be saved from Hell Fire, and have precious assurance of salvation, but you can’t make them believe it. 👎
