....(the practices, teachings, and beliefs of the Apostolic Churches) are not "identical", but they are ONE: they make up one coherent whole, without internal contradiction.

Did you actually type this with a straight face??

"What more shall I teach you than what we read in the apostle?
For Holy Scripture fixes the rule for our doctrine, lest we dare to be wiser than we ought.
Therefore I should not teach you anything else except to expound to you the words of the Teacher."

 Augustine  (De bono viduitatis)

Not so:

Is too!

NONE of your slavish 'veneration' of the woman that gave birth to JESUS is to be found ANYWHERE inn the early church.

There's a world of difference between *Let those accept it who can*, and being forced to by some organization calling itself Christian

Nobody is forced into celibacy in the Catholic Church. The Latin rite selects those who "choose to live a life of celibacy for the sake of the kingdom of heaven" to be priests. The candidate chooses. One would think a real former Catholic would understand this.

And you do know other Catholic rites allow married priests?

Why do you always resort to polemics to cause division?

Yes, a thousand times and the first time I read it I thought as you do, that mary had other children.

NIV 2 Corinthians 1:13-14
13. For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that,
14. as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.

NIV 2 Peter 3:16
He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

The above scripture alone is enough to convince any one that Jesus was Marry`s only child.

Uh; no - it isn't.

I suppose I could go into revelation 17 which describe the prods of being whores , yeah talk about nice.

Does anyone else 'see' what he sees?

 Revelation 17 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

1 And there came one of the seven angels, who had the seven vials, and spoke with me, saying: Come, I will shew thee the condemnation of the great harlot, who sitteth upon many waters,
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication; and they who inhabit the earth, have been made drunk with the wine of her whoredom.
3 And he took me away in spirit into the desert. And I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was clothed round about with purple and scarlet, and gilt with gold, and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of the abomination and filthiness of her fornication.
5 And on her forehead a name was written: A mystery; Babylon the great, the mother of the fornications, and the abominations of the earth.
6 And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And I wondered, when I had seen her, with great admiration.
7 And the angel said to me: Why dost thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast which carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast, which thou sawest, was, and is not, and shall come up out of the bottomless pit, and go into destruction: and the inhabitants on the earth (whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, seeing the beast that was, and is not.
9 And here is the understanding that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, upon which the woman sitteth, and they are seven kings:
10 Five are fallen, one is, and the other is not yet come: and when he is come, he must remain a short time.
11 And the beast which was, and is not: the same also is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into destruction.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest, are ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but shall receive power as kings one hour after the beast.
13 These have one design: and their strength and power they shall deliver to the beast.
14 These shall fight with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, because he is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and they that are with him are called, and elect, and faithful.
15 And he said to me: The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest in the beast: these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her with fire.
17 For God hath given into their hearts to do that which pleaseth him: that they give their kingdom to the beast, till the words of God be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest, is the great city, which hath kingdom over the kings of the earth.

It does no good to show some one scripture who does not believe scripture.

Indeed; or obey it; either...

Call no man father.

Show me the posts where that kind of profanity is used by non-Catholics, or tell me the names of the non-Catholics who has used that kind of language.

The protestants who also believe that Jesus is God in the flesh deny that Mary is the mother of God which keeping it simple is not only hypocritical but stupid.

But since GOD has always existed; how could she POSSIBLY be His mother as we normally think of a 'mother'?

Maybe you are seeing something between the lines that I don`t see.

We've posted the scripture.

Perhaps you failed either to read it; or, if read, understand it.

Nobody is forced into celibacy in the Catholic Church.

If they want to be a priest they are.

We all know better. And I personally know men who had to leave the priesthood because they wanted to get married.

It is NOT an option.

And you do know other Catholic rites allow married priests?

The Orthodox.

I think DOCTOR Luke can count and knows the difference between *FIRSTBORN* and ONLY.

Luke 2:6-8 And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

If she is “Full of Grace” as the Bible says, how can she have sin?......…

Simple.

I am a sinner. 'Grace' is what has been given to me because I readily accept the fact that I am a sinner and cannot do anything to change that fact.

Grace given to me in no way changes me to being sinless; just as FULL of grace does not mean that Mary was sinless, either.

To assume that Full of GRACE means sinless says that the bible is WRONG when it states, "ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD."

Why does the thought that Mary and Joseph having a normal marriage that included sex and children throw Catholics into such a tail spin?

Links in a chain...

...it is more correct than anything else.

Based on what Standard?

Wouldn't this mean that the LATER Catholic translations are LESS 'correct'?
