Amen, NEWwoman.
Father, I confess that I have been haphazard in my prayers for members of Congress, Governors, State representatives and senators. Truly this is the feed into potential Presidential candidates and both the support and opposition to what You are doing in the Executive branch.
Therefore, I pray for these public servants. Along with my brethren, I pray for servants called by Your name, who hear Your voice and have Your strength and determination to stand up for righteousness. Bring them Your favor and support and defend them as they climb to the positions to which You have called them. May those currently serving be blessed with the knowledge of Your grace by Your Spirit. Send them Your Word, godly counselors and the blessing of hearing Your call and voice. As You pour out Your Spirit upon them, we believe that they will dream dreams, see visions, prophesy and live, breathe and have their being in You. Thank You, Sir, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
