Catholic Peace Group Affirms “Logic” of Killing American Jews for What Israel Does

If there was any doubt that lies told about the modern state of Israel incite violence against American Jews, it was demolished after the recent appearance of professional Jew-baiter E. Michael Jones on the YouTube channel of Catholics Against Militarism (CAM).

During the interview, Jones, a failed academic who bills himself as being at the “absolute dead center of Catholic tradition,” argued that the deaths of civilians at the “March of Return” riots organized by Hamas logically justifies the murder of Jews in synagogues in the United States. Instead of confronting Jones’s statement for what it was — a naked affirmation of hostility toward Jews in the United States — CAM’s Ellen Finnigan, a writer who graduated from Boston College, responded in numb agreement, saying, “Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense.”

The exchange is on full display in an interview posted on CAM’s YouTube Channel on May 14, 2019. During the interview, Jones takes full advantage of Finnigan’s profound ignorance about the history of antisemitism, the Catholic church’s response to the Holocaust, Jewish opposition to the Iraq war, and the Arab-Israeli conflict. Without challenge, Jones blames, Jews for nearly every aspect of American life and modernity itself that he does not like.

For example, Jones blames American Jews for the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 despite the fact that American Jews showed lower levels of support for the war than the rest of country before the invasion took place. In late 2002, for example, Pew data indicated that 62 percent of the American people supported an invasion of Iraq while only 52 percent of American Jews supported the invasion. Gallup Polls indicated that when the invasion took place in March 2003, 72 percent of the American people supported the war.

He also blamed Israel for the Iraq war even though numerous Israeli security officials warned against an invasion, declaring that Iran was more of a threat and that there was no unified opposition to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. The criticism became so loud in 2002 that Israel’s Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told his cabinet to keep quiet about the issue.

Prior to the invasion, David Harris, executive director of the American Jewish Committee, warned, “If the war doesn’t go well, there will be those who will try to peddle the time worn theory that we have to look for a scapegoat and Jews have provided a scapegoat for bigots for centuries.”

Harris’s statement proved to be prescient, because it describes Jones’s behavior perfectly. During the interview, he told Finnigan, that he was “furious at the duplicity and mendacity” that led to the war and that this anger “propelled [him] to write The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit.” This book, Jones’s magnum opus, blames Jews for every aspect of modernity and public life in America that he objects to: gay rights, abortion, rock and roll, and even the success of the civil rights movement in the American South.

For Jones, modernity is a Jewish racket.

Legitimizes Poway Shooter’s Logic

Jones’s affirmation that it is legitimate to shoot Jews in America because of Israeli policies in the Holy Land comes at about 37 minutes into the 58-minute video after he declares that if Israel cannot get along with its neighbors, it’s not his problem. This prompts Finnigan to chuckle cynically before Jones declares that Israeli snipers killed Palestinians in cold blood during the “March of Return” protests at the border. Jones states that he saw photographic proof of such killings while he was being interviewed by Henrik Palmgren a few days before. Palmgren is YouTuber who promotes white supremacism, the notion of white genocide, and nasty antisemitic propaganda about the evils of the Talmud. (For some reason, Finnigan, the host of a YouTube show that promotes pacifism, did not see fit to challenge Jones about his appearance on Palmgren’s show.

With its response to the March of Return protests, Jones says, Israel is teaching the world to murder. “You’re teaching bloody instructions,” he says, while pointing his finger. “So if you do that, don’t be surprised if somebody picks up a gun in Poway, California, or in Pittsburgh, and guns down people in a synagogue.”

“Yeah,” Finnigan says in response.

“You’re preaching that violence is the solution to any problem,” he says. “And if you’re justified in doing that to Palestinians, why is this guy [John Earnest] not justified in doing it to Jews? Tell me that. Explain that to me.”

“Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense,” Finnigan responds.

Does Finnigan really think it makes sense to shoot American Jews because of things Israeli soldiers are falsely accused of doing? Does she have any idea how this logic can be applied to other tragedies where civilians are massacred by groups like ISIS?

Is this the type of logic that a Catholic peace organization should affirm?

What is going on at Catholics Against Militarism? Why is it promoting vicious antisemitism on its YouTube channel?

Is demonizing Jews truly the path to peace?

E Michael Jones seems like an old school bigot, hating gays, Blacks as well as Jews. BUT he's sympathetic to the Fakestinians. If he is a righteous Catholic he should demand the Vatican clean up their own act and stop covering for priests who get on their knees between the "hims". Speaking of which

This bimbo Ellen Finnegan seems to be "aroused" being in the presence of a Jew hater. Whatever gets her through the night /s

Catholics do read the bible, in fact it was the Catholic Church that canonized the bible. Don’t make the mistake of characterizing any church by the actions and pronouncements of individuals acting outside the teachings of that church. Within Christendom there is plenty of error to go around.

We Catholics DO read the Bible....sheesh.

The Catholics in this article are not Catholic in the sense that they seem oblivious to God, the teaching of the Church and the Sacred Scriptures ...and they say and do exactly the opposite of what a faithful Catholic would.

My wife had E Michael Jones’ book on Medjugorje. His conclusions may be correct, but his reason for condemning Medjuorgorje’s visionaries seem mostly to come from chauvinism (regarding Croats as the Great Unwashed) and Pharisaical nonsense (one of the kids once smoked a cigarette! One liked a rock song! How could Mary have chosen such sinners to carry her message!)

I have a ‘news’ flash for you Ezra/Nehemiah ‘fixed’ the so called Old Testament... and Christ declared before any catholic laid their fingers upon the so called New Testament ...

Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Some things people take credit for, are no more than strong delusions.

Anyone can call themselves a Catholic or identify as such. This includes decent people and overt schizophrenics. The vile governor of New York Andrew Cuomo who avidly embraces all abortions and denounces pro life people considers himself a Catholic. Hitler and Biden considered themselves Catholic. Since the Catholic Church as an institution rarely if ever formally excommunicates such people, it must suffer the stigma of having such people publicly identify as “Catholic”.

I highly doubt that his audience exceeds a handful of people, all or most of whom probably agreed with him in the first place. Regardless of what silly nonsense he may put out, American citizens are free to practice their first amendment rights without foreign agents “snuffing” them.

These frauds are NOT "Catholic", as they have proven by their agenda.

Murder of innocents is NOT Catholic.

They are still Catholics ....although in a state of grave sin. Reminds me of a quote by St. Augustin who said something to the effect that the floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops....etc...

I don't want to get into a fight here, but there was NO single Jewish canon, there were multiple (Septuagint, Pharisean, Sadducean, Essean, Herodian, Zealot, etc. Some only accepted the Torah, some the Tanakh, some included far more extensive lists and within those some used the Babylonian and others the Alexandrean. It was why the Sanhedrin often quarreled violently. By the 3rd century there were over 600 different and differing texts in use within Christendom. In 382 AD the Catholic Church only selected the 72 books they thought were sufficiently inerrant and inspired for reading in the Liturgy of the Word in the Mass. What others have done with that and why is between them and God. Its not my fight.

Michael Jones says he is in “the absolute center of Catholic tradition”.

How clever and timely this piece, used to further malign and to further suppress the steady rise of resistance, among the faithful Catholics, who are rejecting and repudiating this Marxist Modernism of the Vatican and taking over the Church, scuttling the Church.

The Catholic Church in the West is broadly quite busy denying their tradition. So is Rome. The Traditional Catholic faith, piety, practices and their Traditional Latin Masses barely exists, overwhelmed by Modernists, ever since the Vatican II results permitted meddling and wrecked the place.

This boob claiming to be in the center of tradition hurts us Traditional Catholics and our efforts to restore Christ Jesus to be the center of the Church and not replaced by Marxism and a Man centered Social Justice club of globalist interests.

I am a ‘bit’ familiar with the Massorah... and when people take credit on what the Heavenly Father ‘sent’, it is a holier than thou message. Given the state of Catholicism today, that ‘serpent temple’ in the Vatican the king holds court, I am not the least impressed with claims of taking ‘credit’ for the source of what the Heavenly Father instructed.
