Just heartbreaking.

Our beloved Lab(Cody) developed an insatiable thirst and

a problem holding his bladder. It was like a firehose he

would be sooooo embarrassed and sad as it happened more and more often.

When it first started we took him into the vet,

he had been so healthy the time had escaped us and they

couldn’t believe he was still alive and looking so good.

Cody was 15 years old, it was a serious illness

Cushings and very advanced, nevertheless they

wanted us to do several expensive blood tests to

determine what medication and dosage would be appropriate.

We had to say uncle when he went downhill fast.

Our daughter was out of town which made it even harder.

I am praying for your aching heart that you may have

moments of peace in your sea of troubles.

That Saints and Angels will surround and protect you

from further misfortune and that a bright future

though hard to imagine right now is

just around the next corner for you and Lenny.

God Bless

7

Thank for your kind words and I’m sorry for your loss.

I feel like a failure.

I know she’s old, I know she’s not ‘curable’ but the timing is wretched.

The past month and half [and even before] seem like a nightmare.

I can deal with this or that going wrong if it’s spaced out “normally” but so much in such a short time.

I’m just overwhelmed.
