Jeremiah went to Babylonia and Egypt and Syria - what do these travels have to do with the facts that Europeans aren’t genetically or historically the “lost tribes”?

Yes the reason ruddy is used for David is to signify that he was filled with life -- he wasn't "white"

The Key of David as in Rev 3:7 "The words of the holy one, the true one who has the key of David, who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens." is Jesus - Jesus is pictured as the one who holds the "key of David" which is earlier referred to as "the keys of Death and hades" (Rev 1:18). This "key of David" is mentioned in Is 22:22 where Eliakim replaces Shebna as the leading minister of David's kingdom.

In Isaiah the "key" of the kingdom is a symbol of the authority of David given to the minister/steward who acts with the authority of the king. "He shall open and none shall shut; he shall shut, and none shall open"

Jesus makes further reference to this when HE calls himself "the one who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens."

Jesus holds the Key as He is the King in the line of David.

As we see, Jesus as the King, gives this authority to Peter, making Peter the steward/prime minister of God's Kingdom I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven" Mt 16:19 -- Peter is the steward of the authority of Jesus, God who is the true holder of the Keys as we read in Rev 3:7

The description of young david is ruddy - full of life -- and with bright eyes

This is what David would have looked like - brown skin, blackish/brownish hair - like every other Semite

he was definitely not north European looking

Actually the Old Testament wasn’t “fixed” - there were differences between the Septuagint and the Babylonian in terms of the minor prophets. Everyone agreed with the Pentateuch, but which of the minor prophets and other books were to be added was left until the council fo Jamnia in 70 AD that defined Jewish canon

Mark 13:23 talks of the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 69
21 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. 22 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the [g]elect. 23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.
1 Cor 11 talks about the admonitions to the Israelites in the past as warnings for the future

And let's be clear - Revelation 22:18-19 talks about "this book" namely the Book of the Revelation of St. John --> don't you realize that the Bible is made up of 73 books ending with the book of the Apocalypse?

Sigh, hebrews 10:7 is given as support for Paul’s point that the animal sacrifices offered under the old covenant could never solve the problem of our sin. The very fact that they had to be repeated over and over proves that they only temporarily covered sin, they could not permanently cleanse it (Hebrews 9:8–10). This, according to the writer, is part of God’s intention; we were meant to look for a single, once-for-all sacrifice, and this is what Christ provided (Hosea 6:6).

And Deuteronomy talks about the Law — specifically as in Deuteronomy.

sheesh, don’t add to the book of revelation and don’t add to the Law

Better dig deeper. Did I say Jeremiah's travels had anything to do with the 'lost tribes'? Jeremiah had the king of Judah's daughters on his travels. When Jeremiah went on his journey, the House of Israel were 200 + years already in captivity ... Again unless and until the DNA of Jacob is certified it is mass assumptions about who is or who is not of the 'lost tribes'... Christ sure knew who they were.

Not 'even' Peter held the 'key of David'... I have read what Peter penned and it is shocking how much of what he penned has evolved into traditions of whomever got a whim.

Jesus holds the Key as He is the King in the line of David. Stumbling all over this ... 'line of David' means just that 'blood line'... without that knowledge one will worship just about anything or anybody.

Your image does NOT fit what is written: Mass deception... but carry on...

Song of Solomon 5:7-13

7The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me. 8I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love. 9What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?

10My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

11His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. 12His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. 13His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.

And yet before one jot or tittle of the so call New Testament was place on plant fibers or animal skins, or chiseled in stone, Christ declared in Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

It was 'fixed' in the Words of Christ.

Perhaps you are unaware of Lizzie Borden, I mean Lizzie Warren... One does not get much ‘whiter’ than her, and yet she cashed in on calling herself Cherokee... She sure is not the first to make false claims and she sure will not be the last.

I grew up hearing my (sainted) grandmother say her grandmother was a ‘full-blood’ Cherokee .... know what, unless one was ‘registered’ on the Cherokee Rolls, it makes no difference how much Cherokee blood one has, in the eyes of The Cherokee Nation. There have been fakes since the beginning of this flesh (world) age... and as it is Written there is nothing new under the sun. (Oh, I tossed in a bit of Peter's writing in there.)

What? You mean those '7 deadly sins'? Christ came in the 'volume of the book'..... John more than once connected the book of Revelation to Deuteronomy. Ever read the 'Song of Moses' of Revelation 15? You will find it in Deuteronomy 32 ... a song the 'overcomers' will be singing.

In memory of my 'sainted' grandmother, whose first born son, a very poor depression era, 'redneck', was scooped up and sent to save those stupid 'white' Europeans from their cess pit of insanity... Her son was there on D-day, got his head blown open from shrapnel , had the presence of mind to keep his thumb in the air wiggling so the beach combers would find him... had a metal plate installed to keep his brain intact and was then sent to that Battle of the Bulge.

Our Heavenly Father keeps His promises... and I a mere commoner, have benefited from being a US citizen... A promise fulfilled.
