Is this priest married?

Father Treco's excommunication has deprived him of the means to support his family. In response, backers have set up a GoFundMe page as well as a PayPal account in an attempt to raise funds to sustain them until Fr. Treco can secure secular employment.

Please read his bio at the GoFundMe page. Fr. Treco was an Anglican priest, with a wife and several children. They all came into the Catholic Church via the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, which is a special kind of super-diocese erected specifically for ex-Anglicans being received into the Catholic Faith.

Like many Ordinariate clergy, he was quickly re-trained and received Catholic Holy Orders. His kids are, I think, grown now, but he is still married and still the support of his wife, Norma. I think they're presently living with one of their adult sons.

This is an “Anglican rite” parish, part of the Ordinariate of St. Peter, in full communion with Rome, not a regular Novus Ordo Roman Catholic parish. Such parishes are former Anglican or Episcopal churches which have petitioned Rome to enter into full communion.

And yes...priests in the Anglican rite can be married.
