Why don’t you clarify then?
Patiently correcting error is one of the works of mercy. It comes under "instructing the ignorant," and it is done in that spirit, mercy.
As Paul tells his catechists:
"Do not speak harshly to an older man,[a] but speak to him as to a father, to younger men as brothers, 2 to older women as mothers, to younger women as sisterswith absolute purity.""But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children. So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us."
"We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God, in much patience."
"Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.
But you, O man of God, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness."
