So, back to my question....if a person doesn't have a chance to do any "works"....do they go to Heaven or Hell? I'd think it'd be a fairly easy question to answer.

It is an easy question to answer, and I answered it. In the hypothetical real life situation you proposed:

he non-believer professes faith in Christ.....and then they die.

    No baptism.

    No Lord' Supper.

No chance to do good deeds/fruit/works.

Do they go to Heaven or Hell?

My answer is still the same. I don't know and you don't know because we don't know if his profession was true or not since we can't see what is written on his heart. God knows.

Dude...I certainly would hate for you to have to comfort the family of the person in this situation.

They ask you, Al, did my mom got to Heaven or Hell? And your reply?

Beats me.

Yours, sir, is a sad religion if it cannot provide solid answers about your eternal destination after you die.
