Seriously? The Revelations 22: 18-19 is for the book of Revelations solely, as it was not incorporated in the Bible until the 4th or 5th Century.

How could you be that ignorant of the Bible? What else about the bible are you ignorant of?

Revelation contains its title:

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ”.....

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

The ‘Curse of Cain’ is Biblical .... and was general Christian Belief in the 1830s among essentially all Christian Churches, including your own.

No ... you don’t believe in the Scriptures. You believe in the non-biblical Nicene Creed.

Revelation easily places itself within the apocalyptic genre by its opening verse (”the apocalypse of Jesus Christ”) and by following the accepted apocalyptic characteristics with only two exceptions: pseudonymity and statements of authority.2 Other than those two factors, Revelation contains all the characteristics of the apocalyptic genre: 1) dualism; 2) complete determinism; 3) life beyond history; and 4) imminent expectation of the eschaton. Furthermore, Revelation is also prophecy (Rev. 22:18f) and an epistle (Rev. 2 and 3).

Duh!!!

Your scripture is written at the end of the ‘Book of Revelations’ which was a stand-a-lone book for 300 years before it was incorporated in the Bible.

Obviously it was intended for the Book of Revelations.

Please use your brain first and check the validity of your claims before you try to assault/undermine someones faith.

The book itself claims to be Scripture, and as the author was an Apostle, one is hard pressed to think the author might be wrong on such an important matter. Furthermore, the book contains adaptable wisdom on how to live at any time. Revelation has a message for both its original audience and today’s reader....it encourages readers from all times to hold fast to the faith while warning of the persecution to come later.

Revelation fulfilled the criteria for inspiration more than adequately. The book comes from the first-century, Apostolic circle, sustains and expands orthodox teaching, and has a message for believers beyond its first audience. Beyond these three traits, Revelation has some undefinably characteristics commending it to Christian readers.

You’re blabbing about everything but not answering what I asked you...

Seems if you were really a Mormon you’d know the answers and be proud to share them.

I’ve not mentioned a creed at all. Only you have talked about creeds.

“Prove the Homoousis portion of the Nicene Creed by the Bible ,

ONLY YOU have even brought this up.

Not me.

Yet you refuse to answer questions about Mormon teaching...

Why?

It’s just another unfounded claim. In truth, the catholic church is like the Pharisees in the Bible. Repetitions, man made, and not followers of Christ.

I believe that I will worship Almighty God through time and all eternity.

As for me getting a planet??? Can you show me where that is in LDS scripture, as I have absolutely no idea where you got that.

I think you’ve been listening to a CNN description of our beliefs (ie: Fake News)

Show me where it says that in LDS scripture.

Afterall just because John Wesley says others will come for miles to see you burn brightly, doesn’t mean that Christ wants you to self-immolate.

Give me scripture, doctrine, not your opinion of what my beliefs are.

From their perspective it sounds like it’s believed the books of the Bible were chosen by people and not God.....rather than the early church leaders didn’t create the canon, they merely ‘affirmed it’.

“Can you show me where that is in LDS scripture, as I have absolutely no idea where you got that.”

For one to claim they have been a Mormon for 58 years, it appears you are unaware of what Mormonism teaches.

The ‘Curse of Cain’ is Biblical ....

Chapter and verse?

And please, describe exactly what the Curse of Cain is for those who do not know.

I'm sure many have never heard of it before.

What Christ do they believe in?? The one in the Bible. I just don’t understand this hatred. I saw it in my commercial church in the 70s- 80s. It was lynch mob mentality toward Mormons. I saw it as very evil and wrong. It is a slippery slope to say that one man’s Christ is not the same Son of God as another man. I think it is shameful and bigoted . I hope you will back off and look at that.Take care.

Wow .... are you really that uninformed? All of the books of the Bible as well as the apocraphal writings predated the bible by over 300 years.

Sometime in the 4th Century there was a push to consolidate all of the writings of the apostles into one book....known as the bible.

There was a debate in the 4th century regarding which books were authentic and which were either corrupted or falsified.

The books deemed to be accurate were placed in the New Testament were laced in the order of the Gosples, Acts of the Apostles, Epistles and the Book of Revelations was placed last due to its uniqueness.

Sorry ... if you don’t agree, your argument is with history and not me, since this is very well known and accepted by all except the uninformed.

News Flash.... ‘Mark’ and ‘Luke’ were not even apostles or even eye-witnesses of Christ. They are believed to be associates of the Apostles and therefore wrote the Gospels either as scribes or from second-hand knowledge.
