As a Roman Catholic, here is what we believe. We worship God alone and of course Jesus, who is the face of the Invisible God and is the WORD. We HONOR the Blessed Mother and ask for her intercession, and we also ask for the Saints to intercede for us to God. Hope that clears things up for the protestants on this thread. So, again, we DO NOT worship Mary and the saints.

“We HONOR the Blessed Mother”

She should be honored as “blessed *among* women” and no greater... as God said.

“and ask for her intercession”

Made up and not in Scripture.

“and we also ask for the Saints to intercede for us to God.”

Made up and not in Scripture.

“So, again, we DO NOT worship Mary and the saints”

Some do. Most idolize poor Mary, bowing Dow and praying to her and making her into a demigoddess, instead of the simple, obedient woman she is.

Again, the disconnect between what is said and what is done.

I will ask, Why would one pray to Fulton Sheen when God the Father invites us to talk directly with Him?

One is obviously better than the other. And the issues may be more than better choice...…………………..
