What would Jesus keep secret? I heard him say a lot about how to live, rebuking the wrong, forgiving them for their wrongs, but not a word about keeping it under wraps.
The church should have a reputation of zero tolerance for bad reputation activities. At least if they represent Jesus.
You don't expect your clergymen to keep confidences? Everything you say to them you expect to be broadcast to everyone in the church?
There's a sin called "detraction," which is telling something negative and reputation-harming about someone else to a person who has no right nor need to know.

Agreed. That has nothing to do with the Vatican “Secret Archives”. Now go back and really read my other two posts, and the link that is in the second one.
As it is, you are acting like Mueller. You see the man (the Catholic Church) and you want all the information so you can selectively examine it and show us the crime. In addition to being a grave injustice, you know full well the world does not work that way. There are many things that are private (hidden—”secretum”) that are not corrupt.
(That said, if you *really do believe* the world does work that way and Jesus doesn’t want us to keep anything from being out in the open, feel free to PM me all your usernames and passwords for your email and social media accounts, as well as your plans for giving me keys to your house and file cabinets.)
