Story of your life: guessing.

Pathetic.

All I have to do is follow the thread. It’s pretty clear.

Cross-threading again, I see.

Singularly striking choice of words, eh?

Your logic is very flawed.

No, you misrepresent the origins of the “dialogue” between the two of us. Don’t run from the facts.

Belief in a piece of cloth, even one not directly associated with Jesus, has been efficacious in Scripture.

11God did extraordinary miracles through the hands of Paul, 12so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and the diseases and evil spirits left them. -- Acts 19:11-12

Note, by the way, that even Jesus used physical healing (a merely physical, temporal sign) to signify His authority to forgive sins:

5Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk?’ 6But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” Then He said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.” 7And the man got up and went home -- Matthew 9:5-7

“I do both. Do you not ask others to pray for you? If so, why not just pray directly to God?”

You shouldn’t pray to the dead because the Lord GOD says not to consult the dead on behalf of the living.

Isaiah 9:18
When they say to you, “Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?

The following verses explains how you and your fallen church have been deceived and Revelation 2:21-22 explains why the Lord GOD cursed your false religion.

Isaiah 19:3
“Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be demoralized within them; And I will confound their strategy, So that they will resort to idols and ghosts of the dead And to mediums and spiritists.

Revelation 2:21-22
21‘I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality. 22‘Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds.

What's the difference between "science" and that church?

From Nobel physicist Leon Lederman:

"Science is not a religion. If it were, we'd have a lot easier time raising money." :-P

Carry on.

Does that story open your bible or something? Because Genesis was true millennia before chrstianity ever existed.

"Before Abraham was, I AM." Guess who said that? Apparently a lot of his fellow Jews got pissed off at that enough to try to stone Him.

“Why did you try to reason with Eagleone? The man is a one trick pony protestant troll and has been one for years on this board”

Do you mean why do you try and reason with the Word of God? Ealgeone uses the Word of GOD, so if you are don’t like what he says you are saying that you don’t like what GOD is saying.

I know it disagrees with your deceived religion, but he’s trying to show you the truth like it or not.

Proving once again my observation it is the Roman Catholic who usually, though not always, is the first to resort to the personal attack and/or profanity when the argument is against them.

St. Peter did the same thing in the Courtyard, right before the Cock crowed. And look how he ended up.

She chopped Holofernes’ head off after getting him drunk, putting him off his guard by the promise of getting lucky, right?

“Science is not a religion.”

If it doesn’t agree with the Word of GOD then it’s a religion, a religion of Satan, but still a religion.

Problem's deeper than that. One of the issues is Sola Scriptura. Key issue is that nowhere in the New Testament does it refer to the books currently in the New Testament, as being on a "list" of Scriptures.

That list was compiled by the Christian Church a thousand years before Luther (broadly speaking).

Second point is, the Catholic doctrine is that the teachings of the Church itself, are to be relied upon for doctrine; and for this there is explicit scriptural warrant.

The problem I have seen in many Western Evangelicals, is that they condemn the Catholic Church as a cult, without realizing that the Catholic Church and Orthodox Churches are the direct in-line descendants of the Apostolic tradition, teachings, and practice. And that if anything it is the 20th century Protties who are out of sync with historical belief and practice.

There's a bit of chronological snobbery as well as American individualism which seems to be tied in: tho' that latter may be a bit of a "which came first, the chicken or the egg?" problem.
