blasphemy is a matter of ascribing works of God to works of the Devil, or Demons

This guy characterized the Holy Spirit (God) -- the one who in fact impregnated Mary -- as a sexual predator, someone evil. He is speaking against the Holy Spirit.

31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. (Matthew 12:31-32)

blapshemy is the final rejection of the call of the Holy spirit to salvation

This is not 'blasphemy'. This is dying in ones sins. blas + phemy requires speech (-phemy).

It amazes me that anyone can say that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is not possible today. They limit the sin to that period when Jesus walked the earth. I have found no such time constraint on this sin.

I am prepared to be corrected on this subject, if someone can show me clear scripture that I am in error.

Note i stated that the person commits the act first- of attributing the work of God the Spirit to the Evil One- or Demons- this results in a final act of rejection of the Holy Spirit’s work in one’s life- there is there-forth on no more sacrifice for such people- they have made their choice to finally reject the Holy Spirit’s work in their lives-

[[It’s important to pay close attention to the context of Jesus’ statement about this “unpardonable sin.” He was speaking specifically about the grumblings of the scribes and Pharisees. After witnessing the power of Christ displayed in the healing of a demon-possessed man, these religious leaders made comments like, “He has Beelzebub,” or “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons” (see Matthew 12:22-24; Mark 3:22).

In effect, the scribes and Pharisees were rejecting the grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ. They were rejecting it by attributing Jesus’ works to the power of the devil. They weren’t just doubting or even denying the truth. They were maliciously contradicting what they had witnessed with their own eyes.]]
