Do you know for sure?

She was there.

But standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26When Jesus then saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” 27Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour the disciple took her into his own household. You don't know that.

He might have known who Mary was, and all of the Apostles.

He might have listened to, and rejected, Jesus's message 2 or 3 dozen times during his 3 and a half year ministry.

We have no idea-in fact, in the Bible it's made explicit that there are many things that weren't written of.
