If the title looks plain idiotic, it's not. On October 31, many who identify as being believers in Christ Jesus will actually do just that. Their church may have a spooky "trunk or treat" or festival, or a costume contest and they'll take their kids to it. This year the costumes will be even more horrific than the last, but it's all in fun. No. If you or your church participate in the celebration of Satan's day, you are in league with the Evil One and are not truly a Child of the Living God--Jesus. Get yourself and your family out of that church, repent and receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord or recommit your lives to the Lord, and find a church that does follow Christ and teaches the whole Bible. If there is any gathering at any church on the 31st, it should be to pray for the protection and safety of our law enforcement, first responders, our fellow believers, missionaries, our loved ones and thank our Savior that He indeed is coming quickly. My beloved FRiends, I love you in Christ Jesus.
” This year the costumes will be even more horrific than the last”
You mean, dress up as Hitlery Clinton or Buttcrack Obama?
Little kids dressed up as Snow White or a butterfly do not horrify me. We are not worshiping satan by giving out Hershey bars. Wow!
And we’re off with the “HALLOWEEN IS EEEEEEEEVIL!” threads.
Oh BS! It’s just a fun holiday, get off your high horse.
And Jesus wasn’t a Christian either because he ate with sinners, right?
Don’t paint with such a ridiculous broad brush. Most churches use it as an opportunity to bring those in who are unfamiliar with Christianity in hopes of bringing them back to hear the word. At our church The only ‘scary costumes’ are from new comers who otherwise would be walking the streets otherwise oblivious to Christ.
You could consider going as a Pharisee. You seem to already fit the role.
I’m less worried about the worship of Satan on October 31st as I am for any Christian who votes on November 6th for the Democrat party.
What I’d like to see churches do is have kids dress up as saints and go around and give gospel pamphlets to homes with a “God bless you” instead of “trick or treating.” If they get treats anyhow they would donate them to the poor and homeless.
God doesn’t “equal” Satan. God surpasses Satan, going in the opposite direction.
Jack Chick! Is that you!?!
Well yes Halloween is evil. But we don’t have to cower before it. “Redeeming the time, for the days are evil.”
There’s sometimes a fine line between religion and superstition. The ‘Hallowe’en is EEEEEEEVIL’ finger wagging that goes on every year is something I’ve always had a difficult time taking seriously, just like any other superstitious nonsense.
It’s Biblical
Luke 10:7c Do not go from house to house.
...but...
“JESUS WASN’T A CHRISTIAN EITHER...”
I don’t think that makes any SENSE
How could He be a CHRISTIAN when He was CHRIST? That means He believed in Himself...??..
Superstition is itself satanic.
Gospel is divine.
a small blue box with a “?” in it?
Nobody comes trick or treating where Im at, it looks too much like the movie Deliverence here.
Cue the banjos.
When we had had kids we would go to the church for harvest partys.
When I was a kid, we went trick or treating and never thought it was worshipping Satan either. Didnt know better.
Grace.
Youre a mean one, Mister Grinch.
Yeah, I know wrong holiday. But Ill but the Grinch didnt like Halloween either.
You are disobeying Jesus. He commanded us to not cast pearls before swine.
