The article does not specify whether this was homosexual or heterosexual porn. If it was gay porn, that would put a very different meaning to Terdine's statement that he "wanted to educate the boy because he seemed naive about human sexuality."

Any decent reporter would have requested and reported the specifics, politically incorrect or not.

It's just as easy to 'forgive' a priest in a prison cell as to forgive him while he's sitting rent free in a rectory provided by the parents of the children abused...

Child rapists belong in prison. And the people who protected the rapists belong in prison too.

The Catholic Church teaches that pornography is a “grave offense” because “it does grave injury to the dignity of its participants (actors, vendors, the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others” (CCC 2354).

I'll bet the rapists and abuser preached about 'forgiving sinners'... and never got around to much else.

“You live and you learn sometimes,” said diocesan spokesman Monsignor Ronald Lengwin.

The monsignor is in dire need of an ass kicking.

The Diocese of Pittsburgh was aware of the actions of this priest, Father Richard Terdine, but only removed him when it discovered his misconduct made it into the Pennsylvania grand jury report on more than 300 priests and minors they allegedly sexually abused.

Kind of makes it a mockery when they decide someone isn't "purified enough" to receive Communion at their altar - they have those who, by their own rules should receive it actually 'blessing' it and supposedly causing actual transubstantiation, etc.....
