The way that occurs to me is why on earth would the Orthodox care to unite with Rome? If Francis lives ten more years he might just create a whole bunch of autocephelous once-Roman Catholic Churches. His determination to devolve authority in the Church and his piling heresy upon heresy might just accomplish that.
Too true, I was fishing on Wednesday and had forgotten that it was the Feast of the assumption. When I emerged from my trailer my friend said :Happy feast day” and I realized that this part of a song had been in my head since I had awoken.

To Jesus, through Mary! That is what the Saints told us would preserve the Church in the Last Days.
What did the Prophets preach? What did John the Baptist preach? What did Jesus Preach? What did the Apostles preach? What should we be preaching? Now surely we know they all spoke for God, So what is it?
The whole message of Revelation is the same message. Mountains are falling on them and they still won’t do it.
What does God say on the matter!
God is consistant in his word. What is the big message of his Word?

We should be thankful that God is shining the light on this. That he loves us enough to show us the sin and turn to him one more time.

I've been noticing more and more lately that Catholicism is replacing Jesus with the Catholic Mary...Who is NOT the Mary of the Holy Scriptures.
How about rebuilding your church (referred to as the Church) by having a love for out beloved Savior, Jesus Christ?
