You conveniently left out an important part of the verse. Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit . . "
The words you omit rule out child baptism. "Make disciples - baptizing THEM." THEM means the disciples.
I don’t see a conflict with kids getting baptized. “Make disciples” is clearly instigated by the action of baptism (in Salvation’s qoute.). The clear command is to go out, baptize, thereby making disciples. Even you literalists could see the simplicity and direction?
