Well they were Masons. Not Shriner. There are serious questions about the spiritual beliefs of the Masonic club but that has more to do with their salvation than their conduct at least in the Masons. Masons are great disciplined men who work hard and have strict moral standards, That doesn’t mean they didn’t or don’t go to Hades for not accepting that Jesus died for their sins, in my view. But that is just me.
As I said you can’t pick and choose if they are evil and followers of the enemy you are bound to stand against them and their works.
To be a Shriner, you must be a Master Mason. Ergo, all Shriners ate Masons but not all Masons are Shriners. And since some ceremonial garb has been described as Islamic, one should note the period in time predates Islam. So, can one presume that all Muslims dress up as Masons???
