“The Masons are a Satanic cult.”
Where did you get this? They are not any more secretive than many organizations, and they do not do satanic things like kill chickens or torture anyone. A candidate just has to have a belief in a true and living God. So does most of the world.
Is the Shrine a party group? Yes they are. That is what they began as and advertised they were. But they do a lot of good things too. Someone mentioned the Shriners’ Hospitals: Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 non-profit medical facilities across North America. Children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients’ ability to pay. And if they can’t pay, they won’t and the kids will get the best care the facility can give. And if they can’t get it there, they will be taken to another facility at Shriner expense.
So, let them party. Maybe they can celebrate the saving of a child today. That’s something worth celebrating about, isn’t it? And you can be assured they will thank that living God because he healed that child. Satan wouldn’t have, God does. Sorry you were misinformed.

I am not unaware of the Shriner’s Hospital and all the good they do for kids who are severely injured especially from burns.
And that is wonderful.
That, however, does not negate the spiritual aspect of Free Masonry and other fraternal organizations that engage in that kind of oath taking and spiritual connections.
